The Dead do a half-step uptown toodleloo by droppping the plan to remove some of the, close to 3000, shows from www.archive.org where they are available as free downloads and streams after an outpouring of protest from Heads.
There is a reason why this is the most downloaded boot leg on the internet:

I can see why this is such a vaunted show! It quickly made itself my favorite Dead show. Work has gone by in flash =).
