More insult to injury for the xbox360 fanatics. As if purchasing a game system for more than 200% markup isn't enough self inflicted insult in itself. Xbox 360 launch doesn't seem to be going as planned in Japan. Based on how well the first xbox sold/is selling in japan, who would have guessed that they wouldn't be able to sell out of their initial 360 alotments over there.
Maybe the people who are bidding on ebay should wait for the japanese companies to start selling these things online to the states. It doesn't look like they will be selling 400k of these anytime soon in the land of the rising sun.
I bet one could go to lik-sang.com and get a japanese 360, with shipping and some kind of converter for the power supply for only 120% markup. Enjoy your $1000 game consoles, I hope you saved enough for the $60 (and this one) versions of $50 (or $40)pc and console games.
